Introducing the blog!

We wanted to do something a little different this year while you are break.  I know you have homework in your other classes, but all I really want you to do this year is READ!  I am going to do a little reading each day and I hope that you do too!

I am not just going to read, though.  I am also going to blog about it.  I invite you to comment on my daily posts to tell me a little about what you've been reading each day.  

My goal is for this to be an enjoyable experience for you.  Talking about books is such an important part of our class, but, more importantly, it is an important part of being a reader. Additionally, though, you will get a little ELA extra credit for doing this work.  Even one or two posts will help you in class (though I encourage you to do more)!  

Use your EVCS accounts so I know exactly who I am talking to.  My post should serve as an example for you.  Include the title and author of the book that you are reading, why you chose it, why you like it, what it's about (no spoilers please), and what you think might happen!
